Boston or Bust! Ali takes over the blogging...

Whew. Mom is wiped out from the race, so I've taken over the blog. Someone had to step up. Our trip went pretty well. I'm not sure what all the hype is about plane rides, though. Boring. I tried to spice things up by shouting out to everyone in our section. I also decided not to waste any of my special plane time sleeping. I saved that for later.

Boston is a cool city. Lots of great places to walk around and check out. My grammy, Cheryl, was a fabulous escort. I really didn't care for all the screaming and clapping during the race, though. It's hard for a girl to think with all that racket going on.

I love my newly acquired toys - a mylar race blanket, a cute Boston Marathon tshirt, and a cowbell. Sweet. If only mom and dad would have busted out the cowbell on the plane. Next time. Although, I heard the phrase, "never again," muttered shortly before we touched down in Portland. Hmmm. I'm sure they're not serious.

And so is pizza. (A totally acceptable food for a 7 month old.)

We didn't really let her eat it. I promise.
