1. Exersaucers have mesmerizing lights. (thanks Grammy Cheryl!)
2. The BOTTLE! Yes, that's right. Amelia, our babysitter, got Ali to drink about 1/2 an ounce from the boob bottle. Just when I thought all hope was lost.
Ali received some new toys (thanks Aunt Aimee and Grammy Y!) and gets very serious when she tries to focus on a toy or sit up. She also got so tuckered out from all her play, that she had to take a nap in her gym. I thought things got unusually quiet. We're looking forward to Christmas!
We hiked a beautiful trail near our house and another wonderful trail near Multnomah Falls and the Columbia River Gorge. It was chilly, but very worth it.
Ali visited Daddy at work for Halloween. She also went hiking again (of course) and watched her first football game as a Ducks fan. Jason was afraid of jinxing MI, so she wore her Oregon onesie instead. We've also discovered that she likes singing. 99 bottles of beer on the wall. The MI fight song. Whatever. As long as you're bouncing and singing, she's good. We go to the doctor on Thursday for her 2 month check-up and to see how much the little chunker weighs. Ali also hosted a play group with 11 of her friends.
LIKES: Dogs, babies, my blanket, reading, going up and down stairs, dancing, patty cake, cookies
DISLIKES: riding in the car; sitting in my high chair, saying goodbye
