Preparing for Halloween

Ali ponders the upcoming Halloween holiday and does a little working out in her gym to keep her figure. She also managed to fall asleep in the car seat (a miracle), so I had to snap a picture of that. She will be 7 weeks tomorrow. She's taking medicine that stains her mouth (and lips and clothes) purple...quite the spirited Halloween look!

Hiking near Mt. Hood

Due to some sketchy directions, our nice little day hike turned into an all-day, mad dash to beat the sunset, adventure. Ali was a sweetie the entire time (probably due to the fast pace and constant motion) and we saw some amazing views of Mt. Hood and the Ramona Waterfall. The trail is now shutting down for the winter, but we've vowed to come back next spring. We even mentioned the word "camping." Crazy, I know.
